Rewarding Day – TrailRider at Nature Trail

I couldn’t have asked for a better day, at times it was pretty warm, thank goodness for the box of frozen water. I recall someone pouring some of that frozen water down my back .

The group of high school students took on the role of being sherpa’s with great care. The back sherpa took on the role of stabilizing the TrailRider along with the control of the disc brake. The front people were in charge of navigation, and maintaining balance. Before I knew it the bike helmet was on seat belts were fastened and they were off.

The day was about promoting possibilities and accessibility, we did exactly that as a group.

I would like to thank SABNES, Salmon Recreation Center, Shuswap Trail Alliance, and SASS Students and Teachers.

The Nature Trail is truley a sanctuary to have so close to town.
